Event Details

This is your chance to directly influence how Kent’s creative industries can play their part in bringing about a vibrant and dynamic economy. It is your opportunity to tell the county’s decision-makers what you need to help your business grow here in Kent.

You are invited to this business growth consultation event on the 29th February at Studio 2, in The Maidstone Studios, for companies, large or small, in this wide and diverse sector, including:

  • Architecture
  • Art, Craft and Design
  • Broadcasting
  • Creative Innovation
  • Design
  • Digital Entertainment Media
  • Event Management
  • Games Developers
  • Marketing and Advertising
  • Performing Arts
  • Public Relations
  • Video and Film Production
  • Web Design

Top of the event’s agenda will be the chance for delegates to focus on what factors may be holding back the success of local creative businesses. Can you help us answer these questions: What would make a real difference to the commercial success of creative industries in Kent? and - What can the public sector, even in these difficult times, do to help your business, and the sector, flourish? Come and tell us.

Kent Economic Board and Kent County Council are hosting this consultation because both organisations recognise that the county’s future success will be driven by a small number of important sectors – and the creative industries is one of them.

It will be a stimulating afternoon, a great networking opportunity, and we are expecting a strong turnout from highly motivated and opinionated business leaders from the creative industries sector.

Please sign up – and we look forward to seeing you on leap day - 29th February.
